Leadership Level I - Maritime Resource Management Course |

AEMTC training centre is an authorized
training centre for the SAS (Sweden) developed BRM
course. The course covers the training recommended
in STCW 95 Section B - VIII/2, Part 3-1 and the
mandatory training requirements for RORO passenger
ships in Crisis Management and Human Behaviour
detailed in Section A - V/2 para 5 of STCW 95. This
course deals with the Human element involved in
errors committed on the ship. The MRM course is built
on the modern day multimedia teaching method of CBT’s
Workshops, Case Studies, and Simulated Role Plays.
The centre is equipped with 14 PC’s with each
candidate having a dedicated terminal to himself.

The Leadership Level 2 course aims to motivate officers to develop leadership
qualities, a range of communication skills and to take on a managerial and
leadership role onboard. The course emphasizes on the application of the key
principles of leadership.
The course creates critical awareness of the various cognitive and affective
factors that impact human performance.
This course is an advanced course and covers training recommended for all senior
officers and superintendents who have completed the Maritime Resource
Management Course. It utilizes a range of teaching methods - simulated role plays,
table top exercises and self assessment.
