Entry Criteria:     Newly employed or laterally hired personnel in the maritime industry with advanced technician level or engineering training to a bachelor’s degree level. Interest in Shipbuilding, Ship design, Naval Architecture.

Course Description

Course Objective
Participants will gain knowledge about ship structural analysis, allowing simple analyses and understanding of when and how more advanced analyses are used.

Contents of the course
The module reviews basic aspects of ship structural analysis, focusing on a qualitative understanding needed for design and operation, without going into the details of the analytical theory. Practical exercises, always relevant to maritime applications, complete the module.
